Tour of Iceland

July 2027

A lap around Iceland's famous ring road. This way you will not only reach the most famous photo-spots of the island in the south, but also the highlights in the north and east. Most places are close to the ring road, so you rarely have to deviate from the asphalt.

The photo-spots are not only near the sleeping areas, there is also a lot to see and photograph along the way on this road trip.

The target-price is 850 euros per person for car and accommodation. The exact cost of the trip can only be determined at the time of booking. In 2025, the trip could eventually be booked for 1,110 p.p. for a total of six travelers. The flights were included  back then.

While technically a sunset occurs in Iceland in July, the sun stays at a low angle, resulting in continuous twilight rather than true darkness, a phenomenon known as the Midnight Sun. The sun sets around 11:30 PM and rises around 3:45 AM, which results in more than 19 hours of daylight. That obviously means that there is no chance of seeing the Northern Lights, on different occasions there should be the possibility the spot puffins, though.
