Winter Lofotenland  

The Lofoten Islands are a nature-photographers heaven in every season, but winter and snowy mountain-landcapes are always special. In nine days we will explore that scenery with the famous and lesser known photo-spots.

We stay in two houses, one near Leknes and one in Ramberg further south. That way we can easily reach every point of the islands well within one hour. Most of the spots are relatively close to the main road, long walks will not be necessary.

The achieved price for one group is 1013,01 euro per person for flights from an to Amsterdam, car and accommodations. There might be the possibility of a second group, if there are enough people interested. The target-price is 650 euro p.p. for a rental and the accomodations.

The winter-months on the Lofoten Islands are dark. In our travel-period we can expect five or more hours of light per day. The sun will not rise completely but move along the horizon, causing an magical hour that lasts not one but several hours. Of course there will be a great chance for nothern lights as well.

Day 2 - photo-spots in the northern part of the Lofoten
Day 3 - photo-spots in the northern part of the Lofoten
Day 4 - photo-spots in the northern part of the Lofoten
Day 5 - photo-spot in the morning, drive to Ramberg
Day 6 - photo-spots in the southern part of the Lofoten
Day 7 - photo-spots in the southern part of the Lofoten
Day 8 - photo-spots in the southern part of the Lofoten
Day 9 - photo-spot in the morning, drive to and departure from
              Leknes

Driver:
Kevin Kempf will drive the car during the entire journey.

Each participant receives all travel-information in pdf-files. Additionally you will also get access to my interactive map with photo-spots on the island.
