Malta is a microstate in the Mediterranean Sea, known for its rich history, sunny climate, and azure waters. The archipelago consists of three main islands: Malta – the largest and most populated one – Gozo, and Comino. We will visit Comino on a day trip; we will stay for several nights on Malta and Gozo.

We arrive in Valletta, where we will stay for two nights and mainly stay in the city. On the third day, we depart by car via the ferry to Gozo, where the greatest gems for nature photographers can be found. After three nights, we return to the main island, where we visit a number of photo spots in the North. We spend the penultimate day on the car-free island of Comino. On the last day, after taking a number of sunrise photos, we head towards the airport.

 

The target price based on four people is 330 euros. This price includes the car rental, accommodation with two bedrooms, a kitchen, WiFi, and a parking space, as well as the ferries.

Malta experiences a similar amount of rain in October as the Netherlands, but due to temperatures normally above 20 degrees, it feels much more pleasant than here. The days last approximately 11 hours, with sunrise around 7:00 and sunset around 18:00.
